Casey’s lessons are fantastic, my boy is very gentle in nature but can be strong mixed in with lazy and will often try to find the easy way out. Casey’s technical riding ability is excellent (and far exceeds mine) so I will often ask that she ride him in a lesson so I can learn and observe the amazing work she gets out of him. "I unhesitatingly recommend Casey as an exceptional dressage coach. Treating horse and rider as a single unit, she has the ability both to see, and explain, what needs developing and how best to do it.
Her style of instruction is clear, self-confident and rigorous, and she is always quick to praise. While drawing on her own experience with international trainers, she thinks independently using her knowledge of yoga as well as horses and dressage. She is very adaptable in her approach, and employs both pole work and a variety of graded exercises to make sure lessons are never dull.
I am an older rider, and my horses are only working at novice/elementary level, but as she has competed up to International Small Tour level she would be equally effective with more advanced combinations. And being so young herself, friends tell me she is also excellent at motivating teenagers - especially stroppy ones.
In a nutshell, Casey is as talented as she is nice. I consider myself - and my horses - very lucky to have lessons with her, and I wish her every success."

Her knowledge of training horses is incredible - you can tell she’s trained with the best in the world. Her insight into horses has helped my young 17.2 warmblood go from strength to strength. "When I bought my current horse, it was with the intention of bringing him on for dressage. He was a 5 year old, who had done very little other than hack. So in my mind I was looking for a trainer who would help me lay some really strong foundations on which to build my dressage dream with my horse of a lifetime.
It was when I met Casey that I realised she was the trainer for me, and could be the one to help me achieve my goals and dreams. She is very good at spotting conformational strengths and weaknesses with both horse and rider, and so the lessons are built around that, therefore you never get to the point in the lesson, where everything has become too hard and you just wish it to be over, and neither does the horse. The lessons are well structured, meaning you always come away having achieved something, but with plenty of ideas and exercises to work on in-between times at home.
If any flaws are identified during the training, then these are ironed out in the early stages, so that they never become a big deal to try and sort out at a later date. Casey’s enthusiasm for correct training and improving the horse’s way of going is second to none, even in the depths of winter, whilst it’s driving with rain and we’re training in the outdoor arena!
I can only thank Casey for all the effort and knowledge she has put into me and my horses training for the last 18 months, so that we are now in a position to go out competing, and actually be a contender. We have learnt and grown together so much in the time that we have been training with her, for which I am very grateful, so long may it continue.
Casey also offers fantastic facilities at her home yard, which we have made use of this winter, and this again has improved my horse’s confidence away from home tenfold. All in all if you are looking for a knowledgeable, kind, patient and enthusiastic trainer, then Casey is the one for you!"

“Casey has really helped me to improve my riding and get the most out of my pony. She explains complicated things so that they make sense to me. Casey makes all my lessons fun but isn’t soft and tells me if I’m doing something wrong, but in a nice way. I really enjoy the variation that she brings to my lessons as otherwise my mind can wander and I get easily bored. Casey is an awesome trainer.”
